    The countdown is now three days to our Lafayette Marching Classic(October 27, 2007). This a major fund raiser for the band.. Donations are needed in the following areas:
    1. Coolers dropped off Thursday at band practice
    2. Donations of baked goods to sell (3 cookies,1 large brownie, pastries, slices of cake, etc.) If possible have them ready for sale when delivered (individual servings) Should be delivered Friday and Saturday before and during the classic.
    3. Tent that can sit on concrete (Saturday morning)
    4. Portable tables (Saturday morning)

    Volunteer help is needed in the areas of:
    1. Set up (as early as 6:00am)
    2. Clean-up
    3. Work the booths, concessions,
    4. General help

    Classic Information -
    The final planning session for the Classic is Thursday October 25th, 2007 at 7:00pm in the band room.

    DVDs of the classic will be presold (Ms. Rhoden has the pre sell order forms-pre sell price is 25.00, 30.00 at the classic). Band receives five dollars from the sale of each DVD

    We are asking parents to wear black band shirts or a black Fayette County High School shirt with khaki pants. If you need to buy a marching tiger band shirt, contact Molly Curtis. All volunteers need to check in at the ticket gate at the main ticket booth. If you aren't able to committ to something in advance, when you check in we will find you a spot. This a great opportunity to help the band and the final opportunity to earn credits for the 2007 marching season.

    Let's all come together for our students, the band, and Barbara Postell and her family. Many thanks to those who are stepping up. Everyone is needed. Contact Yvette even if you don't know what you can do or if your time that day is limited. You can make a difference!
